Directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, the movie features a stellar cast including Mammootty, Anaswara Rajan, Dileesh Pothan, Saiju Kurup and Jagadish among others.
2. The Kerala Story

Directed by Sudipto Sen, The Kerala Story triggered a row due to its alleged nationalist propaganda. The plot revolves around three women who convert their faith and is later forced into being terrorists. The movie was banned in many states alongside petitions to not release the film in theatres.

‘Naa Saami Ranga’ is an official adaptation of the 2019 Malayalam film ‘Porinju Mariam Jose’. It stars Nagarjuna, Allari Naresh, Raj Tarun, Ashika Ranganath, and Shabeer Kallarakkal among others. The soundtrack of the film is composed by M. M. Keeravani.
4. Saba Nayagan

Saba, essayed by Ashok Selvan, gets drunk and the police arrest him for public nuisance. Saba narrates his love stories to the police to get out of the arrest. The romantic comedy movie was released in theatres in December. Directed by C. S. Karthikeyan, ‘Saba Nayagan is his directorial debut. What happened after Einstein fled Nazi Germany? Using archival footage and his own words, this docudrama dives into the mind of a tortured genius.
