Popular Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor, who will be next seen in the spy thriller movie Ulajh, was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai due to food poisoning. The news of Janhvi Kapoor’s hospitalisation was confirmed by her father Boney Kapoor.
Janhvi Kapoor reportedly contracted food poisoning after consuming adulterated food. According to sources, Janhvi Kapoor had a “severe case of food poisoning”.
Boney Kapoor said the health condition of Janhvi Kapoor is better now and she is likely to fully recover in one or two days. The actor is expected to be discharged from the hospital by tomorrow.
The actor was forced to postpone all her appointments on Wednesday due to ill health.
Janhvi Kapoor had returned to Mumbai from Chennai on Tuesday. She had started feeling well since Wednesday.
Recently, the actor was spotted at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. She then got busy with promotional activities of Ulajh, directed by Sudhanshu Saria. Ulajh also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang and Adil Hussain.
Janhavi Kapoor plays a young diplomat caught in the web of spying in Ulajh. The movie begins with questions around Kapoor’s character, who is presented as a diplomat who has to battle nepotism accusations for landing a job in Indian embassy in London.
