Dunki becomes 10th Shah Rukh film to enter the 100 crore club

Dunki, the Rajkumar Hirani film starring Shah Rukh Khan has entered the 100 core club. Khan can definitely be called the employee of the year. This is his third film after Pathaan and Jawan to enter the 100-crore club. The King Khan is ruling the box office after a five-year hiatus. 

The movie, which also stars Sunil Grover and Taapsee Pannu, has done well in metros like Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, with the family audience flocking to see the movie, according to Pink Villa. 

The movie follows the story of four people from Punjab, who dream of going to London to earn big for their families. Khan’s movies that made it to the 100-crore club include  Ra One, Don 2, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Dilwale, Raees, Pathaan and Jawan.

World-wide the movie has grossed 200 crores at the box office. This is the first time Shah Rukh Khan has teamed up with the Three Idiots director Rajkumar Hirani. 

Prashanth Neel-directed film Salaar starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, which released a day after Dunki, grossed 208 crores at the box office in India.
